Redeeming the Dirt · Well-Watered Garden Project

Learn to grow it. Then learn to teach it.

Our five-day trainer course brings you to our family farm in Goodwater, Alabama to learn the Foundations for Farming and Well-Watered Garden methods with your own hands, and to practice teaching them, so you go home ready to train others in your church and community.

2027 dates: May 10–14 and October 11–15

What the week looks like

• Hands-on work in the garden every day, from building soil to planting on time, at a high standard, with little waste.
• The why behind the how: stewardship and discipleship as one calling.
• A Thursday evening community class at a local church garden, where you practice teaching with experienced trainers beside you.
• Lodging and meals included, Monday at noon through Friday after lunch.

Seats are limited. People on this list hear first when registration opens. Youth scholarships are available for young people ages 16 to 25 who commit to training at least two others within a year.
